On the thirty-eighth episode of MBC drama "Lights and Shadows", Lee Jeong-hye (Nam Sang-mi) and Kang Gi-tae (Ahn Jae-wook) met at the welcoming party for one of Hong Kong's very well known movie makers.
Jeong-hye was surprised by Ki-tae's appearance but she tried not to lose her calm. When Kang Ki-tae told her, "It's been a long time" she said, "Do you know me?"
Lee Jeong-hye continued, "To think about it, you look like someone I used to know. But I forgot all about it. He's just too painful to even think about and I was hard for me to get rid of the last bits of him".
With a stiffened face, Kang Ki-tae said, "Well I'm glad you did. I just said hello as your fan" and he tried to smile. The reunion was over. However, in the car going back, Lee Jeong-hye couldn't help but cry painful tears. So did Kang Ki-tae. As much as they loved each other, it looks like they are going to hurt for a while.
